Because it's totally normal to have questions before you step in front of a camera — and I'm here for all of them.

How far in advance should I book?

For spring and summer (aka senior photo prime time), I recommend booking 1 month in advance to guarantee your spot. But if you’re a last-minute magic-maker, reach out — you never know what I can make happen.

What if it rains?

No stress. Kansas weather is... dramatic. I build in buffer days and am happy to reschedule. You won't miss your moment.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you feel confident and you. Want some inspo? I’ll send you a prep guide after booking that includes outfit tips, location pairing, and what photographs well on camera.

Can I change outfits during the session?

Yes! All of my sessions allow unlimited outfit changes within the time frame — so bring the jeans, the jersey, and the glam.

Can I bring a friend, parent, or hype squad?

Absolutely. Bring your mom, your best friend, your dog, or whoever hypes you up. Just know I might put them in a photo or two.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions can happen all over the KC metro area — think urban backdrops, golden fields, school campuses, or wherever feels like you. We’ll plan the vibe together.

How and when will I get my photos?

You’ll get a proof gallery within about 2 weeks of your shoot. From there, you’ll select your digital image package (10, 20, or 50). After that, I’ll deliver your final retouched images via a private online gallery.

Can I order prints or albums?

Yes! You’ll have the option to order high-quality prints, canvases, and albums straight from your online gallery — no weird labs or drugstore quality here.

Do you photograph guys too?

I sure do. In fact, I'm a boy mom and have taken lots of photos of guys! No glitter required. I tailor every shoot to the person — laid-back, sporty, cool, or full glam. Whatever the vibe, I’ve got it.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Life happens. Your session retainer is non-refundable, but I’m happy to reschedule if you give me at least 48 hours notice. Less than that and I may require a rebooking fee.

Do you offer mini sessions or events?

I photograph everything from classic corporate headshots to personal branding portraits with personality. Whether you need a LinkedIn refresh, a website launch, or just want to celebrate a big milestone in style — we’ll create a look that fits you.

What should I wear for a headshot session?

Wear what makes you feel like the most confident version of yourself. Neutrals, layers, and subtle textures always work well — but if bold color or sequins are your thing, I say own it. (You’ll also get a prep guide with tips once you book!)

Do you offer hair and makeup?

I don’t provide it directly, but I’m happy to refer you to some amazing artists I trust who know how to get you camera-ready without making you look overdone.

Can I change outfits or looks during the session?

Yes — bring multiple options! We can mix professional looks with more casual, creative, or celebratory styles. This is about capturing your full story, not just one angle.

Do you photograph birthday or milestone sessions too?

Absolutely. Turning 30, 40, 50+ and want to show up fierce in front of the camera? Yes please. These sessions are some of my favorites — we’ll design something bold, personal, and totally worth framing.

Where do headshot sessions happen?

Sessions can happen at your home, office, a studio space, or on location — whatever feels like the right backdrop for your brand or vibe. I’ll help you choose!

How will I receive my photos?

You’ll get a proof gallery to choose your favorites, and then I’ll deliver final retouched images via an online gallery — ready to download and post, print, or slap on a billboard (you do you).

How many final images are included?

Most headshot sessions include a set number of retouched images (like 5 or 10), but you can always upgrade your package or purchase additional edits if you’re feeling all the looks.

Can I book a team or group session?

Yes! I offer on-location headshots for small businesses and teams. Contact me for a custom quote and we’ll build something that fits your crew.
